On April 1, 2026, the EU co-funded project “MashOpt: Automated system for optimization of design workflows in the construction industry” (project code: NPOO.C3.2.R3-I1.06.0340) was successfully completed.
The project was co-financed through Croatia’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NPOO 2021–2026), under the call “Proof of Innovative Concept – Third Call”. Implementation started on April 1, 2025 and lasted 12 months.
Total project value: €70,914.41. Total eligible costs: €64,598.57. Grant amount: €44,139.00.
MashOpt addresses key construction and architecture pain points: time-consuming cost estimation processes, inconsistency in preparation, and risk of manual errors. The developed software approach combines automation, web scraping, and computer vision for faster and more reliable calculation workflows.
Project activities included: prototype development, technical feasibility demonstration, legal/IP protection definition, commercialization roadmap preparation, and project administration.
